Finally we meet again – First-Generation-Meeting in Szeged
After the last months and years were marked by the Corona pandemic, February has started with an exciting program for the Hungarian socioMovens community. Young coordinators, who have already participated in a project week and can now imagine organizing a project week themselves, participated in a four-day meeting from 03 to 06 February 2022. The 10 young people have been involved in the local group for several years, but since they became coordinators, they were unfortunately unable to organize a project week because of the pandemic. The “mini” project week was intended to keep alive the feeling of the first project week and at the same time to give a deeper introduction to the work of socio-Movens.
The program included a variety of activities: experiential exercises, warm ups and group games. A handcraft workshop, bible sharing and the evening reflection and prayer rounded off the days. A completely new experience was an equine assisted therapy workshop.
The time spent together was very nice for us, it strengthened our community and we had new experiences together again. We hope that in the near future we will be able to organize another project week and pass on the feeling of socioMovens to new young people!
