«і завжди готовими будьте на відповідь кожному, хто в вас запитає рахунку про надію, що в вас»

Імпульс:

Можливо вам усім знайома така ситуація: ви вмикаєте телевізор і складається враження, що у світі стаються лише погані речі. Картини війни, голоду та природніх катастроф надходять до нас щодня і можуть залишити нам враження безпорадності. Постає питання: «Що я можу зробити в цьому несправедливому світі, якщо я лише маленька людина?»

Я вважаю, що найкращою відповіддю на це буде пам’ятати все найкраще, що є в нас. Надія на те, що світ стане кращим може стати початком розвитку. Тому що той, хто має надію живе інакше. Надія на чесне співіснування та уважне ставлення до світу є своєрідним повідомленням, що ми маємо почути і яке приносить світло в наш світ. Тому наважся і почни вже зараз!

Who has not ever dreamed of being a “superhero” – one who, like Batman, defeats evil with intelligence and supernatural powers. But as great as we sometimes feel: each of us has strengths, but also weaknesses. And we do not have to be superheroes either. The “heroes of everyday life” usually look different from the super heroes of the cinema: they are people who do not constantly circle around themselves, have to set themselves in scene and be in the center, but have the other in view and around to strive for a good relationship. They know that together we are strong. Not ME, but WE.

An African proverb says, “When we cross the river together, the crocodiles can not eat us.” Then we can not only defeat the evil, but also do much good. Then we can sing with Gen Verde: “I believe in the WE!”

Scripture: John 8,32

Jesus says: „If you keep my word, then you are truly my disciples. And you will have knowledge of what is true. And that will make you free!“ (John 8,32)

Impulse:

Many of us can not imagine life without a smartphone – unlike parents or grandparents. And it’s also a great technology that helps me communicate with others, independently, at any time. If I experience something interesting, I can share it with my friends, preferably with a picture. Always up to date and all information in real time! But we also get quickly dependent on it. What if the other person does not answer? When others make an appointment without me? If I’m not „liked“.

And how serious is the other about what he “posted”? It’s great when we chat with each other – but in the end the question remains: what can I build on? Whom can i rely on? Who tells me the truth, even i fit hurts? That’s where Facebook and WhatsApp  come to an end. Ultimately, I need a counterpart: a face, a person to talkt o whom I can trust. The motto of this month wants to help us to communicate in honesty: in the personal encounter, in direct conversation. Play fair! Be honest with you – and the others!
